Milstein, Jackson, Fairchild & Wade is proud to take an active role in philanthropic and community activities. To further that end, Milstein, Jackson, Fairchild & Wade has directed millions of dollars in cy-pres monies to various charities. Below is a list of the firm’s recent cy-pres awards:

  • -The Susan G. Komen for the Cure: $2,200,000;
  • -The American Diabetes Association: $1,100,000;
  • -The Council for Responsible Nutrition Foundation: $400,000;
  • -The Alliance for a Healthier Generation, a joint initiative of the William J. Clinton Foundation and the American Heart Association: $325,000;
  • -The American Diabetes Association: $325,000; and
  • -The Lymphoma Research Foundation: $325,000.

Diversity Scholarship

Additionally, Milstein, Jackson, Fairchild & Wade has endowed a $25,000 law school scholarship to be awarded annually to a selected student at a California law school who has elected to devote his/her studies to public interest law.

The recipient for 2012 is Nathaniel Christian Wenstrup who attends UCLA School of Law.
